Arvia Walker is a Black Feminist, Political Organizer, Visual Storyteller, and artist dedicated to amplifying the voices of Black women, families, and communities through archival preservation, visual arts, and community engagement.
As a curator and artist, Arvia's work preserves the rich tapestry of Black family histories. Her photographs capture familial bonds, cultural traditions, and everyday moments, responding to Maya Angelou's call to protect our history. Her work documents Black culture, capturing stories of love, pain, resilience, and joy for future generations.
